FAQs

  • Most weddings are booked 6-12 months out, but if your wedding is on a Saturday during busy season (June, July, Aug, Sept), we advise contacting us as soon as our calendar for that year opens, as they book up quicker! Don’t worry if you don’t have every detail figured out, getting on the calendar is the most important bit. Details can come later, as you finalize other aspects of your wedding.

  • Reach out! I can’t wait to hear from you. After receiving your inquiry, we will set up a consult. If your local, I’d love to meet you, and chat all things weddings. I want to hear about your whole wedding, your vibe, you and your fiancée, and your interests, so we can personalize your wedding to you.

After we’ve chatted, I’ll get you a personalized quote, and when you are ready to book, its a 25% deposit, and a contract to sign.

Any changes between booking date and 5 weeks out, no problem! Send me an email and we can adjust as needed. 6 weeks out we finalize all the details and payment, and get your flowers ordered!

  • If you are coming to NS to get married, phone chats work just as well, and if you come for site visits or fittings, let me know and we can meet then!

  • It’s often recommended to spend between 10 % and 20% of your total wedding budget on flowers.

Generally, full service weddings START at around $3000.00. This would include wedding party, very simple centerpieces, perhaps a small arbor arrangement, as well as delivery. If you are looking for more upscale arrangements and show stopper looks, have a bigger wedding party, or if you are getting married outside the HRM, budgeting above $4500.00 is recommended.

  • Yes! Almost all full service weddings require some set up on site, which would require delivery. Smaller a la carte celebrations can be picked up from the studio, or delivered.

  • Absolutely! We understand you likely don’t know things like your full table numbers when you book, so adding or changing where you spend your budget is no problem, as long as we’re not reducing the total spend.

  • If you are getting married soon, inquire anyway! We can often make short notice weddings work, just be aware you won’t be able to be as specific about flower choices. If your wedding is only a week away, or a year, we can make it wonderful.
